2) I had to consider the typical conventions of a film poster when deciding what picture to use, and where to place the text. I also had to consider the actual text Eg; actors names, film title, production company which me and Brad made up as "EVERGLAD Productions", and the date that the film hypothetically "comes out".
Also, the film has to portray the overall message of the film which had to be conveyed by the photograph. I came up with the idea as the two protagonists are in main view and the focus is on their body language and facial expressions. The poster shows the two characters as friends having a casual conversation, however there is a divide down the middle which portrays their differences.
1) The original photograph was taken at night around 9:00pm on a Canon350D. I inserted it into photoshop and began editing the image and adding in text to make it look like a conventional film poster.
